Hammer Mills for Press Cake and Seeds – Efficient Milling Technology from Ölwerk

  The OWH200 Hammer Mill is a powerful and versatile vertical hammer mill specifically designed for use in the feed industry as well as various other sectors. Thanks to its robust construction and high-quality manufacturing, the OWH200 is ideal for grinding press cakes, grains, and seeds for feed mixtures, but can also efficiently be used for crushing wood waste, wood chips, straw, bones, brick residues, lumpy raw materials, and various wastes. The grinding process is carried out by eight robust hammers that rotate at high speed (2,890 RPM) and crush the material both by impact and friction between the screen and the raw material. The OWH200 stands out with its ease of operation and maintenance. Changing screens is straightforward, allowing different grinding levels (screen sizes 2–8 mm) to be quickly realized. In the standard version, the 2mm screen is installed. The machine is also easy to clean, making operation particularly efficient and hygienic. With a drive power of 3.0 kW and a rotor diameter of 430 mm, the hammer mill achieves a throughput of 100 to 200 kg per hour (depending on the screen diameter). The compact design and total weight of 113 kg allow flexible integration into existing systems. The OWH200 thus offers a reliable, durable, and versatile solution for diverse grinding tasks in industrial and agricultural sectors.
