Three adjusting screws that determine your margin.
1. Seed selection. Soy: ~ 18% oil yield Sunflower peeled: ~ 45% Hemp peeled: ~ 35% Pumpkin seed: up to 48%. Higher yield = better economics.
2. Marketing channel. End consumer bottled goods fetch three to six times the wholesale price. Own brand instead of B2B crude oil.
3. Press cake utilization. Animal feed is the standard route. Hemp, linseed and pumpkin cakes achieve premium prices in the food industry (baked goods, snacks).

What does cold pressing mean industrially?
Controlled pressing room temperature below 60 °C, no solvents, multi-stage filters. End product marketable as “virgin oil” or premium pleasure oil.
